Hidden Gem in Danyang | Suyanggae Light Tunnel & Gosu Cave

Danyang is famous for its 8 scenic view of Danyang. Most people will visit Dodamsambong and Stone Gate, Gugyeong Market, do paragliding activity, and eat garlic meals! But on my 2nd trip to Danyang, I have discovered some hidden gem in Danyang – Suyanggae Light Tunnel & Gosu Cave. These attractions are so beautiful and I would definitely like to recommend to people who wish to visit something different.

If you are looking for something to see at night in Danyang, Suyanggae Light Tunnel is highly recommended! This special tunnel is filled with beautiful lights and is definitely a good spot for photos. Besides that, there is a secret garden after you have walk through the tunnel where you can take even more photos. It is really pretty at night!

Gosu Cave

Gosu Cave is my third cave that I have visited in my entire life. First was Gua Tempurung, Malaysia. Second was Waitomo Glowworm Caves in New Zealand. And now, tadah! my third one would be Gosu Cave in Korea!

Gosu Cave is a limestone cave located in Danyang. It is well known for its beauty. There are many rocks with interesting names, such as Lion Rock, Virgin Mary Rock, and Love Rock(lol?). There are many stairs inside the cave. We basically went up and down a few times. Some spots were quite narrow, and if you are tall, you might have difficulty crossing those areas. So, please be careful!

This cave kinda amazed me. I was trying to compare the names of the rocks with the real shape of the rocks. It was fun! If you are up for a short adventure, visit Gosu Cave!
