Where to stay in Danyang?
My recommendation: Rio 127 Guesthouse!
(Located just 5mins walk from Danyang Intercity Bus Terminal).
*Note: This is not a paid review. I stayed here for 2 nights and I really love it. Therefore, I would like to recommend this guesthouse to you, if you are planning to stay one night in Danyang.
Inside the guesthouse.
Inside the room. (Bunk bed for 2 person)
The view from my room (Left: Day, Right: Night) Awesome, right? 🙂
How to make booking?
For booking, please call 043-421-5600 or 043-421-5700
I called the guesthouse about a week before my trip. The owner of the guesthouse picked up the phone and I made my booking in English. He is very friendly. So don’t worry if you can’t speak Korean and afraid that you won’t be able to book a room. 🙂

2. Dawon Restaurant – 마늘 떡갈비
Another food that you should try in Danyang is Maneul Tteokgalbi (means Garlic meat).
Trust me. This is so good. (Unless you don’t like garlic) ^^
Type : 다원 떡갈비 단양 on google or naver, and find out how to get there.
3. O-seong Roasted Chicken in Danyang Gugyeong Market (오성통닭)
My friends and I ordered the Garlic Fried Chicken with vegetables (KRW 16,000). I think there isn’t other food available on the menu. I remember there was only roasted chicken.
This place seems popular among the locals too. Many people were queueing to buy this. We waited about 30mins for our chicken to come. T_T Waited long, but it was worth waiting because it’s delicious.
This restaurant is located in Danyang Gugyeong Market.
